Stainless steel welder — Worth County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Worth County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience.
