Restoration bricklayer — Trumbull County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Trumbull County, Ohio. You will be based on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred.
