Bench joiner — Wayne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bench joiner in Wayne County, Mississippi. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Your main tasks: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
