Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Monroe County, Illinois. The job is in a spray booth. You will compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
