Panel welder — Republic County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Republic County, Kansas. The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime Full-time with occasional weekends.
