Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Calhoun County, Georgia. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
