Fabricator-welder — Dorset

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Dorset, England. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
