Catering cook — Hays County

Join our team: we are hiring a catering cook in Hays County, Texas. You will be based at a cloud kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
