System formwork carpenter — DeKalb County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in DeKalb County, Tennessee. You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking 1+ years on the tools preferred.
