Great opportunity: in-process quality controller (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Perry County, Kentucky. The job is at a food processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection The role involves: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches 2+ years on the tools preferred.
