We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Unicoi County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $7,000 per project, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
