Cement mason — Bath County

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Bath County, Kentucky. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works On a typical shift you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
