Furnace operator wanted in San Augustine County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in San Augustine County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Rotating shifts.
