Argon welder wanted in Coosa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Coosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Six days a week, one day off.
