Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Sullivan County, New York. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours.
