Die-casting operator — Grenada County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Grenada County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
