Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Rotating shifts.
