Immediate opening: foundry labourer (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Wilkes County, Georgia. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
