Plant operator — Grenada County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Grenada County, Mississippi. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Your main tasks: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
