Backhoe operator wanted in Wallace County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Wallace County, Kansas. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. On the job you will handle: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
