Power float operator wanted in Clarke County

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Clarke County, Georgia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
