Vacancy available: argon welder (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in City and Borough of Wakefield, England. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £2,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
