Plant operator (dozer) — Lee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Lee County, Georgia. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. Day-to-day duties: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Meals and transport allowance provided.
