Now hiring: we are hiring a marble worker in Stephenson County, Illinois. The job is at a marble and granite workshop. You should have: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish The role involves: • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish 1+ years on the tools preferred.
