Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Clay County, Mississippi. The job is on a housing development site. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) You will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
