Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Castro County, Texas. The job is in a tool room. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Full-time with occasional weekends.
