Pastry baker — Coleman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Coleman County, Texas. You will be based at a cake shop. The role involves: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Score the top of loaves before baking What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
