Horizontal milling machine operator — White County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in White County, Illinois. The job is in a toolroom. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing.
