Paint and prep technician — Duchesne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Duchesne County, Utah. You will work at a dealership paint shop. Your main tasks: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
