Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Bedford, England. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Full-time, day shift.
