Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Knox County, Illinois. The job is at a dry cleaner's. The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
