Tower crane operator — Upshur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Upshur County, Texas. You will work on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate We offer $22 per hour plus benefits.
