Urgent requirement: power float operator (Mississippi)

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Jackson County, Mississippi. The job is in a residential housing project. The role involves: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Meals and transport allowance provided.
