Finishing presser — Allegany County

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Allegany County, New York. The job is at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
