Shuttering and concrete hand — Republic County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Republic County, Kansas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
