Site safety steward — Rowan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot The role involves check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height.
