Concrete worker • Hardee County, Florida

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Hardee County, Florida. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds The role involves: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
