Vacancy available: sheet metal press operator (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Sumter County, South Carolina. You will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
