Roofer — James City County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofer in James City County, Virginia. The job is on residential new-build sites. Your main tasks: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Insulate and ventilate the roof void Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
