Shuttering fixer wanted in Wolverhampton

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Wolverhampton, England. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Day-to-day duties: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 6+ years on the tools preferred.
