Sewing machine operator • Monroe County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Monroe County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
