Final inspection operator wanted in Sherman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Sherman County, Kansas. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
