Machinist — Potiskum

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Potiskum, Yobe State. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer ₦140,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
