System formwork carpenter • Rutland County, Vermont

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Rutland County, Vermont. The role involves fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift.
