Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Matanuska-Susitna Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
