We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
