Bench joiner — Lawrence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Lawrence County, Illinois. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
