Press machine operator — Marquette County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press machine operator in Marquette County, Wisconsin. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 1+ years on the tools preferred.
