Milling machine operator — Douglas County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Douglas County, South Dakota. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 6+ years on the tools preferred.
