Garment machinist — Gaya

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Gaya, Kano State. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₦285,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
